Karl Ford is an artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California.
Karl specializes in capturing and repurposing the destructive energy of firearms to create his art. Karl works on a variety of mediums including sheet metal, wood, Plexi-glass and canvas.
Karl’s artwork is inspired by Pablo Picasso’s quote “Every act of creation is first an act of destruction.”
Also an accomplished filmmaker, Karl has worked on many hit feature films including Up In The Air (2009), Disturbia (2007), and Old School (2003), as well his own short films and video installations.
Karl’s works are held in private collections in Santa Barbara, Montecito and Los Angeles, CA.
